fCRO, Affiliate Partnership Revenue Strategy & Execution

Challenge:

A hospitality technology company offering an Automated Virtual Assistant (AVA) that acts as a 24/7 point of contact for guests in 10 languages, enhancing guest support, rental revenues, and repeat bookings, was led by a founder who transitioned into a new role as VP of Partnerships. The company was acquired by Aquiring hospitality company. The company sought strategic guidance during this transition and integration process. 

Solution

  • I created the affiliate sales strategy and led the attainment of new affiliate partnerships to onboard as providers for the AI SaaS tool, as well provided Business and revenue model strategic advisory services to the founder of the hospitality tech organization, who later became the VP of Partnerships at Aquiring hospitality company. My focus was on helping the SaaS firm develop and scale its affiliate program, driving partnerships and new business opportunities post-acquisition.
  • Acquisition Advisory: I advised on the acquisition (Aqui-hired), offering insights on how to align both companies’ operations to maximize synergies and streamline integration into acquiring hospitality company’s broader portfolio.
  • Sales Strategy and Roll-out: Following the acquisition, I supported the newly appointed VP of Partnerships in crafting and rolling out a comprehensive sales strategy. This involved strengthening existing partnerships, expanding market reach, and driving new revenue streams through the effective application the firms technology within the Aquiring hospitality company ecosystem.

Result:

We successfully built and scaled the affiliate program, driving increased brand exposure and generating additional revenue for the acquiring hospitality company. This momentum contributed to a smooth aqui-hire acquisition, supported by strategic guidance that ensured efficient integration into the acquirer's organizational structure. Following the acquisition, the new sales strategy expanded partnerships and unlocked new business development opportunities—fueling growth under the leadership of the newly appointed VP of Partnerships.
